Prerequisites for Joining Mission Quest
Alignment with Statements of Faith: The prospective missionary must align with our Statement of Faith and the Nashville Statement on human sexuality and gender roles, and commit to living and teaching in accordance with these statements.
Evangelical Christian Identity: The prospective missionary must self-identify as an Evangelical Christian.
Full-Time Service: The prospective missionary should be actively engaged in, or planning to engage in, full-time service for the Lord, either within the U.S. or internationally.
Church Membership: The prospective missionary should have held continuous church membership for more than six months. Regular attendance alone does not constitute church membership.
Recommendation Letter: The prospective missionary's local or sending church should be willing to provide a recommendation letter.
U.S. Citizenship: The prospective missionary must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number (SSN).
Age Requirement: The prospective missionary must be between 25 and 70 years old.
Long-Term Commitment: The prospective missionary should be committed to long-term missionary service, exceeding three years, or have plans for such service.
Please note that meeting these prerequisites does not guarantee acceptance by Mission Quest. It ensures that the missionary's application will be carefully considered by the Mission Quest staff.
