Yes, Mission Quest's board has set a rule that if the missionary's monthly deposit exceeds $30,000, a permission should be obtained from the board before making the deposit. The president of Mission Quest is responsible for securing the board's consent before sending the funds to the missionary.
The missionary will be informed about the status of the request in case the board did not permit the transaction to be made. In this case, MQ home office will inform the missionary that this month's donations exceeded the $30,000 limit and that the board rejected the notion of MQ president to disburse the funds. Also, it is the responsibility of the board to give a detailed plan of if, how, and when the funds will be disbursed to the missionary.
Donors donate to MQ knowing that Mission Quest maintains discretion and sole control over the use of all donated funds. All donations are non-refundable. MQ is not obligated whatsoever to disburse the funds to any of its missionaries. It has been the habit of MQ to honor the donor’s request whenever possible.
